With the Jeep Wrangler Jk Hemi swap build coming to a close, it’s time to take a look at a full price breakdown.
There are a lot of ways to do a DIY Hemi swap. Some ways can be more expensive, and others can be more budget friendly.
For my Jeep V8 swap, I decided to keep it easy in some aspects, while saving some money in other areas. Using Jeep speed shop components for the swap allowed the project to go very smoothly. The install of the engine and trans isn’t difficult at all. The JSS wiring harness and computer also made it extremely easy.
Overall, the project wasn’t overly complicated and it’s something I believe most people can do themselves.
Sure, you could drop your Wrangler off at a shop and have them install it for $32k… but doing it yourself can be a lot more reasonable to the average person,
Sure, it’s still a lot of money, however it’s something you can save up for and buy parts as your budget allows.
